Ellery Manufacturing was started by Les Ellery
in 1978 in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Today the firm is in
the capable hands
of the next generation.
Paul Ellery is Vice President and is responsible
for the day to managment of the business.
Dave Ellery holds the position of CNC Production
Manager and is directly responsible for production.
Anne Orr ( Ellery ) is in charge of administration
& accounting.
Ellery Manufacturing has grown into a full service, state of the
art machining & fabrication facility supplying work to clients
and
projects located around the world. EM started off working with the
Pulp & Paper and Mining industries but their work now comes
from clients in several industry sectors including Mining, Printing,
Marine, Oil & Gas, the Militiary & Government.
EM is closely associated with machining of specialized heavy components
and is known for its quality manufacturing of fans,
bearing houses, heavy
shafts, housings & gear boxes. In recent years the firm has
done work to develop components for bridge
projects, amusement park rides, large telescopes and cranes. Besides
the manufacture of components EM also handles
reconditioning work and repairs.
Ellery runs both conventional and CNC machines. The EM welding shop
is CWB certified and the firm is currently in the process
of obtaining its ISO 9000 designation.
